During our time on a farm near Clarence, North Canterbury, we went camping in the wild near the Clarence River. The backdrop to the river was the Seaward Kaikoura Range, a stunning range of mountains. Once again, the Autumn colours in New Zealand showing off with the different hues. This area of the river is only accessible by 4x4, quads and bikes and took us nearly an hour to reach. So we felt extremely remote once we arrived, and set to work finding firewood and building camp. Amazing how just one night away in a place like this can make you feel you have been away for weeks.
